Position Overview

  • The Job Location is at Defence Raya Golf & Country Club (DRGCC) in Lahore Pakistan. DRGCC is BRDB Development's first overseas venture with Defence Housing Authority, Lahore (DHA) in Pakistan. The venture also significantly marks Pakistan’s first master planned community in a golf resort style living. DRGCC spans 400 acres of beautifully landscaped luxury home development around a prestigious international standard 18-hole course golf and a country club supplemented by a high end commercial centre.
  • Primary role of Project Manager is to ensure planning, execution and delivery of housing apartments/condominium with collaboration of Contractors, architects and engineers by determining the specification.


Job Responsibilities

The Project Manager shall undertake the following job duties:

  • Study, evaluate and identify all tasks and risks from bidding to project undertaking, implementation and up to the final completion of the project.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of Contractors to ensure the execution of construction in accordance with project drawings, documents, and specifications which must be consistent with structural design, and quality & safety standards.
  • Managing the Contractors site progress and preparing reports on a fortnightly /monthly basis.
  • Responsible for administration of construction Contracts, track and control the construction and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within time limit.
  • Lead, direct, assist and support construction teams to ensure deliverable processes on time and within the budget.
  • Supervise & manage project staffing and schedules related to the day-to-day vertical construction aspects of projects. Review progress reports, check on any reported difficulties, and correct any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
  • This position requires close coordination with key stakeholders to streamline the project progress in accordance with the project timeline.
  • Prepare and monitor the master program against the critical paths.
  • Reviewing the construction drawings in term of buildability & cost efficiency.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks, assignments & related duties when required.


Job Requirements

  • Candidate must have B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) with minimum 10 years of post qualification experience in housing, commercial and high rise buildings.
  • Candidate must have good communication, analytical and problem solving skills with methodical approach to work.
  • Candidate must have good knowledge of quality and safety standard of construction project.
  • Work based in Pakistan.
