The Foundation is seeking the services of a Communications and Knowledge Management Officer. The position is located at the Foundation Country office in Islamabad

Minimum Qualification Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications and knowledge management. Or related fields.
Minimum Experience Required:
Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in INGO/NGO or donor-funded programs.
Minimum Computer Skills Required:
Proficient in using digital tools for developing and designing IEC (information, education, and communication) materials and other documentation.
Any Preferences:
- Strong communication and design skills, with proficiency in English and the local languages.
- Experience in designing and developing communications materials and knowledge products.
- Strong skills in knowledge management practices, content creation, editing, and writing with attention to detail.
Position: Communications and Knowledge Management Officer
JOB FUNCTIONS:
We seek a creative and detail-oriented Communications and Knowledge Management (CKM) Officer to lead the development of knowledge products, manage organizational communications, and design innovative IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials for a nonprofit organization.

Under the supervision of the Country Representative, the CKM Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:
Main duties and responsibilities:
- The officer will be responsible for adapting an organizational communication strategy to enhance the organization’s portfolio and visibility and highlight engagement with stakeholders within the country.
- Will coordinate with program teams to manage internal and external communication. This will include designing and developing project materials and documents, research documents, knowledge products, newsletters, press releases, reports, etc.
- Will be responsible for developing content for social media and other digital and print platforms and ensuring that it adheres to the requisite branding guidelines.
- Develop knowledge products such as information papers, infographics, case, case studies, special reports, toolkits and IEC material etc.
- Use digital tools to design visually appealing and impactful materials tailored to diverse national and international audiences.
- Enhance the organization's online knowledge bank and data management,
- Making relevant information easily accessible to all staff and stakeholders.
General Responsibilities:
- Build the capacity of staff in communication and knowledge management tools and techniques.
- Support the program teams in developing better content and presentations.
- Build relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding agencies and represent the organization at relevant forums and events.
- Maintain program data and keep proper documentation and record-keeping (online and hard copies) of program activities and outcomes.
- Ability to work in a large and diverse team of national and international staff.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in well-established and effective digital skills.
