Position Overview:

As a Construction Manager specializing in Gray Structures, you will oversee and manage the construction of structural frameworks, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from conception to completion, focusing on gray structures.
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with building regulations and safety standards.
  • Manage construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work, ensuring adherence to plans and quality standards.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules to avoid delays and cost overruns.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resolve any construction or site issues promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and ensure alignment with project timelines and quality specifications.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role, specifically in gray structure construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Ability to understand all aspects of a construction project, including building regulations, contracts, and environmental concerns.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead a construction team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Over 8 years of proven experience in construction management, specifically focusing on gray structures.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in construction project management software tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and construction law.


Work Environment:

  • The position requires in-person attendance at construction sites.
  • Full-time role with the possibility of overtime, based on project demands.
