Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP MDG Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Master Data Governance solutions. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective data governance, data quality management, and seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

Implementation & Configuration:

• Lead end-to-end SAP MDG implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Customize MDG solutions for domains such as Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance data.

Data Governance Strategy:

• Define and implement data governance policies, workflows, and validation rules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish master data standards and ensure compliance.

Technical Expertise:

• Develop and enhance MDG user interfaces, workflows, and BRF+ rules.
• Manage integration of SAP MDG with other systems using middleware like SAP PI/PO, SLT, or APIs.

Data Migration & Quality:

• Lead data migration activities, ensuring high-quality data across master data domains.
• Implement data quality checks and continuous monitoring solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work with business users to gather requirements and provide solutions tailored to organizational needs.
• Provide training and post-implementation support for end-users.

Innovation & Best Practices:

• Stay updated with SAP MDG advancements and recommend innovative solutions.
• Align MDG implementations with overall enterprise data management strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of SAP MDG experience, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
• Prior exposure to multiple domains such as Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
• SAP MDG certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of additional SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO).
• Experience with agile project methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG 9.0 or later versions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration and master data processes.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and industry best practices.
• Experience with data modeling and business process configuration in SAP MDG.
• Proficiency in ABAP, Fiori, and BRF+ is a plus.
• Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques.
