Position Summary
As a Content Writer, you will be a key leader within our creative team, spearheading the development of engaging and high-quality content across diverse platforms for our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to create and optimize compelling and informative written materials for websites, blogs, social media, marketing collateral, and other communication channels.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Strategic Content Planning: Develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with marketing goals and brand objectives. Create and maintain editorial calendars for multiple channels.
2. Content Creation and Oversight: Write and edit high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including: Websites and landing pages, Blog posts and articles, Social media content (posts, captions, stories), Marketing emails and newsletters, Whitepapers and eBooks, Press releases, Video scripts, Voicemail and call scripts and Print marketing materials.
4. SEO Optimization: Lead SEO content strategy, incorporating best practices to improve visibility and drive organic traffic across all digital platforms.
5. Content Performance Analysis: Analyze content performance using analytics tools, providing insights to optimize strategies and improve effectiveness.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and other departments to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals.
7. Brand Voice Development: Refine and maintain the organization's brand voice guidelines, ensuring consistency across all content.
8. Industry Trends: Stay abreast of content marketing trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to keep the organization at the forefront of content innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter.
- Portfolio of published articles or content.
- Experience with digital writing for websites, blogs, or social media.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of SEO and content optimization for search engines.
- Adaptability to write in various formats (blogs, emails, social media).
- Familiarity with content management tools like WordPress or HubSpot.
