Content Writer Jr.

Position Summary

The Junior Content Writer is a key member of the Marketing Team and plays a foundational role in executing Cedar’s content marketing efforts. This position is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about digital storytelling, brand voice, and social media engagement. You will create compelling written content, assist in managing social media pages, and support ongoing digital campaigns while learning from a collaborative, experienced team. This role offers direct exposure to SEO, performance tracking, and the use of AI-driven tools to elevate content strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting

• Write engaging content for blogs, social posts, websites, emails, and case studies
• Craft concise captions, hashtags, and social copy aligned with brand tone
• Support content ideation through research and competitive analysis

Social Media Management

• Assist in scheduling and publishing content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
• Respond to comments and messages professionally and on time
• Monitor post performance and engagement trends

Content Support & Optimization

• Apply basic SEO best practices to improve visibility of blogs and web content
• Learn to use CMS platforms like WordPress for publishing
• Collaborate with senior writers and designers to align copy with visuals and campaign goals

AI & Automation Awareness

• Use tools like Grammarly, Quillbot, and ChatGPT for editing and idea generation
• Stay up to date on content marketing trends and innovations

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

Experience:

• 1–2 years of content writing experience preferred
• Prior exposure to social media content creation and page management

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and SEO
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Open-mindedness and a willingness to learn
• Nice to have: familiarity with B2B, SaaS, or fintech-related writing

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time (40+ hours/week)
• Night Shift
• Location: The Enterprise Building, Multan Road, Lahore
• Monday through Friday
• Occasionally extended early morning or late evening hours and/or weekend hour
