Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.

Build robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support analytics and reporting needs.

Automate data workflows and ensure timely availability of data for analytics teams.

Data Architecture & Infrastructure Assist in developing and maintaining data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based storage solutions.

Optimize database performance, query execution, and system scalability.

Collaborate with the team to ensure data integrity, quality, and security standards are met across platforms.

Collaboration & Support Work closely with data scientists, data analysts, and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that support analytics and reporting.

Assist with data integration projects, ensuring seamless connections between various systems and databases.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues, ensuring high data availability and accuracy.

Data Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with data governance policies, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.

Implement best practices in data management, storage, and protection.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data architectures.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.

Hands-on experience with data platforms and tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or similar.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Experience with data warehousing tools such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Experience in building and managing relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
