ibex is looking for a Database Administrator who will be responsible for daily database maintenance, SQL Server/MySQL/Mongo/Redis development work for reporting, optimization of table structures, and database performance.

- Focused in the Database Administration and SQL development activities of both MySQL and SQL Server databases. Mongo or NoSQL knowledge will be considered extra skill helpful on certain occasions.
- Support and maintenance of the existing database infrastructure.
- Standby, on-call, and support of MySQL/SQL Server databases.
- Ability to convince others of right course of action and to explain a point of view convincingly.
- Good interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills, and able to communicate clearly.
- Ability to write clear and concise documents, etc.
- Identify and effectively respond to the diverse needs of the development department’s users.
- Able to work reliably and responsibly with internal and external colleagues to achieve development and organizational goals as a member of a team.
- Able to work alone and to reliably and responsibly achieve development and organizational goals.
- Must have 3 years BS degree in Computers or equivalent.
- Proficient in database and development environment (Linux) as well as competence in MS Office Suite, Visio, MS Project.
- Foresight, analysis and logic, systematic and orderly planning, attention to detail.
- Experience and relevant knowledge in different development and database tools, techniques and environments in order to develop and deliver quality applications and documentation. Total experience 1-3 years with at least 1 years of current solid DBA experience.
- Experience of working in n-Tier, Client Server and Database environment as well as experience with open source/Linux development and production environments.
- Excellent logical analysis skills and problem-solving.
- Attention to detail.
- High levels of initiative.
- Work independently, with a high degree of responsibility.
