Demand Forecasting Manager
You will lead demand forecasting for Saudi, working closely with commercial, supply and analytics teams. You will own processes that create reliable forecasts and improve how we use data. Responsibilities:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Chair/facilitate monthly Pre-Demand Review Meeting (PDRM) and Demand Review Meeting (DRM) to achieve consensus forecast.
- Generate baseline forecast by using Statistical model to ensure robust & realistic baseline forecast generated.
- Develop and embed a sustainable 24-month Forecasting process driven by Baseline inputs and incorporating right level of stakeholder collaboration
- Analyze bottom-up forecast that provided by sales operation and incorporate it into template accordingly.
- Prepare Pre-DRM/DRM and brand financial templates for short-term and medium/long term forecast review.
- Develop the aggregate demand plan, document, updates and challenge the factors and assumptions supporting the demand monthly for DRM.
- Reporting all the KPIs and provide the root causes& mitigation plans on a monthly basis (e.g. Forecast Bias, Forecast accuracy)
- Monitor demand plans for promotions and new products, working closely with Commercial Teams to ensure the plan effectiveness is evaluated & linked into demand plans
- Ensure forecast accuracy is reviewed during Pre-DRM & DRM together with root cause analysis to ensure action planning & continuous improvement of the overall process.
- Monitor demand plan performance, providing detailed input to sales and marketing for use in DRM.
- Identify sales risk by providing the Run Rate analysis & propose sales opportunity to maximize gross margin through better decisions based on transparency of operational realities.
- Manage the Demand Forecasting and Financial forecasting/budgeting processes
- Build effective gross volume and value forecasts fully aligned with market & category trends.
- Working closely with Supply Hub to ensure continuity in supply and minimize OOS or excess inventory.
- Building an effective inventory plan to balance bias and working capital objectives thereby ensuring adequate stock and agreed customer service levels are met for forecasted sales
- Ensure that all major processes and procedures are documented by SOP´s and that SOP´s are compliant with GSK corporate policies and procedures. Any other duty within the job scope as directed by the superior.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in demand forecasting, demand planning or related supply chain role.
- Strong experience working with large datasets and managing data quality.
- Practical skills in forecasting methods and performance metrics (for example bias and accuracy).
- Good Excel skills and experience with forecasting or planning tools. Knowledge of SAP or planning systems is desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English for business communication.
Preferred Qualifications
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Experience in consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical, FMCG or retail demand planning.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, or statistical tools for forecasting.
- Experience with Integrated Business Planning or S&OP processes.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional meetings & collaboration calls
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

- Strong awareness of internal customer service and financials

- Experience with SAP and Excel

Working arrangement
This role is posted in the primary location in Istabul, Turkiye and secondary location in Karachi, Pakistan. This requires presence in either Turkiye Istanbul Head office or Karachi West Wharf Head Office
