Deputy Manager, Accounts

We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Accounts & Finance to join our dynamic finance team at Addo AI, a leading Data & AI Consulting firm. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Pakistani laws, overseeing client/project billing, and supporting strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, experience in the IT/consulting sector, and the ability to handle both local and international transactions and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
· Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
· Manage client invoicing, project-based accounting, revenue recognition, and expense allocations.
· Prepare accurate financial statements as per IFRS and local accounting standards.
· Support management with cash flow reporting.
Compliance & Audit
· Ensure compliance with FBR regulations, Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, SECP requirements, and other statutory obligations.
· Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants for timely audit completion.
Budgeting & Forecasting
· Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models for project profitability.
· Track budget utilization, highlight variances, and provide recommendations.
Client & Project Finance
· Collaborate with delivery/project teams to track billing milestones, revenue recognition, and collections.
· Monitor contracts for financial terms, ensuring compliance with client agreements.
· Oversee receivables and support credit control.
Qualifications & Skills:
· ACCA, CA Finalist/CA Inter, MBA (Finance) with relevant experience.
· 4 – 5 years in accounting/finance, preferably in IT/Consulting/Technology/SaaS industry
· Strong understanding of project accounting, revenue recognition, and local/global compliance.
· Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Tally, or equivalent).
· Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and dashboard reporting.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
· Ability to work in a high-growth, client-driven environment.
