Purpose

The role acts as finance business partner for the Customer Services Department and involves ensuring its financial health and operational efficiency along with identifying opportunities for cost optimization. Additionally, the role involves implementing internal controls to prevent discrepancies and ensure compliance with company's SOPs to supports the Customer Services Department in achieving its operational and financial objectives effectively.

Education (Mandatory)

MBA, ACCA, ICMA, CIMA or member of any professional body with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of commercial and technical aspects of business.

Strong financial and data analytics concepts.

Hands on experience of MS Office and SAP / Business Intelligence tools

Good business partnering/communication skills

Area Of Responsibilities

1 Budget preparation & controlling (30%)

  • Preparation of annual budget of Customer Services portfolio in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with budgeting and planning department for timely submission of budget related requirements.
  • Budget monitoring and controlling along with identification of areas for budget rationalization and cost optimization.
  • Ensure all invoices are timely processed as per PO terms & conditions.
  • Streamline and automate data collection processes where possible to enhance efficiency.

2 Business Partnering (40%)

  • Process and review purchase approval summary related to Customer Service portfolio
  • Perform risk assessment on portfolio & recommend safeguards to manage risk.
  • Review initiatives proposed by user for management decision making.
  • Detailed evaluation of user's proposal & project at PR level
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for swift resolution of their issues

3 Reporting (30%)

  • Review and control monthly Revex cost in coordination with financial reporting department
  • Prepare detailed reasoning for variances in all related GLs
  • Prepare monthly report for portfolio's monthly performance
  • Establish internal controls, workflows and policies for tracking and reconciliation of vendor claims and payments.
