Purpose

The purpose of this Position is to provide support to DGM Projects in complete project management including commercial evaluation, preparation of bid comparison with reference to price and commercial terms, project invoicing, capitalization of project and recording of complete data in SAP. Further, the position will also be responsible for preparation of project related data for budgeting purposes.

This position involves frequent coordination between internal user departments as well as with external parties especially Contractors.

Education

Member of Professional Accounting Body (ICAP/ACCA/ICMA etc.)

Area Of Responsibilities

1 Contract Management including project invoicing.

 Assisting Manager/DGM in project monitoring and controlling of on-going/new Contracts

 Assisting Manager/DGM in Commercial evaluation of new Projects

 Assisting Manager/DGM in Finalization of Contract

 Assisting Manager/DGM in ensuring compliance to commercial terms of the contract.

 Verification of Project related invoices through three-way matching and ensuring compliance

 Coordinate with project department for preparation and verification of cost overruns

 Liaison with Accounts and Treasury for release of timely payments to vendor

 Following up with user for updates on Project status

 Following up with user for timely submission of leftover and spare material

 Assist the user in preparation of management approval notes

 To assist in Project commercial closure in liaison and coordination with user.

2 Fixed Asset Capitalization

 Coordinate with user department for timely asset tagging.

 Prepare the capitalization working w.r.t. invoices, accruals, equipment list and tagging.

 Obtain approval as per mandate and upload capitalization in SAP.

 Provide payments, asset capitalization and closing status report at month end.

 Identify and propose efficiencies in process.

3 MIS Reporting

 Reporting of Project CAPEX report on monthly basis.

 Reporting of Project Cash Spending report on monthly basis.

 Creating and maintaining monthly reporting of project financial status.
