Purpose

The role is responsible for overseeing the operational management of DEI initiatives, including data collection, coordinating team efforts for initiative execution, monitoring engagement levels, conducting surveys, and preparing disclosures for award submissions. The GOAL is to contribute to a positive, equitable, and inclusive work environment that supports talent attraction, retention and engagement, WITHIN the limits of organization’s policies and guidelines from the supervisor.

Education & Relevant Experience

Minimum bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in human resources, organizational development, employee engagement, or cultural initiatives

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1 Diversity & Equity & Inclusion

  • Assist in the development and implementation of DEI initiatives aligned with the overall strategy.
  • Support employee well-being and engagement initiatives and assist with DEI-related projects as required.
  • Track DEI initiative progress by gathering feedback, noting improvement areas, and compiling data on employee demographics and engagement.
  • Support the learning team in the delivery of DEI training programs and the creation of training materials for employees.
  • Maintain resources that facilitate employee learning about DEI and support other departments in the integration of DEI practices into processes.
  • Help organize meetings and events for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support their development and activities.
  • Stay informed on DEI laws and regulations, conduct market research, and assist with drafting policies.
  • Responsible for the execution and visibility of DEI relevant flagship programs on digital platforms.

2 Culture and Engagement

  • Support the review of the organization's culture to identify strengths, weaknesses, and alignment with overall goals.
  • Assist in identifying cultural gaps and contribute to the development of strategies for improvement.
  • Responsible for the operational management of tailored culture development initiatives.
  • Aid in developing metrics to assess the effectiveness of culture initiatives.
  • Assist in end-to-end execution of surveys along with gathering and reporting of data.
  • Help organize campaigns and events in line with DEI focused days/month.

3 Fostering External Partnership and Disclosures & Award Submissions

  • Contribute ideas for DEI-related campaigns with the employer branding team to highlight the organization’s commitment.
  • Prepare submissions for industry awards that showcase KE's DEI initiatives, incorporating stakeholder feedback.
