Purpose

The purpose of this position is to support the Financial Reporting team in timely preparation and completion of monthly reports and analysis of Profit & Loss, Revenue & Capital Expenditure against the Fiscal Year Budget and also assist in setting targets for the same in annual budget.

Education And Experience

ACCA or similar qualification along with 4 years of experience

Areas Of Responsibilities

• Monthly Reporting – Analyze variances in P&L; Review variance analysis of REVEX and CAPEX against budget and preparation of per unit cost working against plants and IPPs. These form part of Monthly Management Report & Monthly Finance Reports.
• Budget – Coordination with Business Finance departments for gathering company-wide REVEX and CAPEX Budget; Preparation of analysis for Leadership & Board and uploading of REVEX budget in SAP
• Benchmarking – To benchmark Companies operational indicators and O&M expenses with different local and international Companies
• Managing hierarchies – Create/change cost center, Cost element & Profit center hierarchies
• Cost Allocation Mechanism – Coordination with relevant Business Finance departments for the collection of data and creation and execution of assessment cycles.
• Preparation of FICO Recon on monthly basis
• Departmental queries – Facilitate User departments/ Business Finance for their data requirements related to REVEX & CAPEX
