Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, specializing in the design, development, and commissioning of automation systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in PLCs, DCS, and associated instrumentation, and will be responsible for delivering end-to-end automation solutions across diverse industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in PLCs, DCS, and associated instrumentation, and will be responsible for delivering end-to-end automation solutions across diverse industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development:
- Develop detailed automation system architectures, I/O lists, and control philosophies.
- Prepare and review functional design specifications (FDS), cause & effect diagrams, and control narratives.
- Configure and program PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.) and DCS platforms (Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, etc.).
- Develop HMI/SCADA graphics and dashboards.
- Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
- Lead or support on-site commissioning, loop checking, and start-up activities.
- Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure smooth operation and achieve process KPIs.
- Generate as-built documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, ISA, local codes).
- Maintain clear project records and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and clients.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for design and execution practices.
