DevOps -GCP

We are looking to onboard a DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 3 year of professional experience, primarily focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is crucial for managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliable deployment pipelines, and maintaining high system availability. The engineer will be involved in client-facing discussions and must demonstrate strong communication and technical ownership.

● Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for GCP-hosted services.

● Deploy, monitor, and maintain infrastructure on GCP.

● Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.

● Ensure system uptime, scalability, and cost optimization on GCP.

● Troubleshoot deployment issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve bottlenecks.

● Join client-facing calls to discuss infrastructure status and deployment planning.

● Maintain security, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.

● Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning when required.

○ Minimum 1 year of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.

○ Hands-on expertise in both Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

○ Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).

○ Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/GKE).

○ Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

○ Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.

○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions

● GCP Certifications

● Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack).

● Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

● Previous experience working in agile, fast-paced startup environments.
