Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering a range of client-led research approaches for content, content delivery and client engagement primarily on Pakistan and other MENAP economies to clients globally. The candidate will be recognised as best-in-class on coverage economies
  • Undertake in depth research on Pakistan, Turkey and other MENAP economies and markets for publications and presentations
  • Construct and manage databases and prepare charts for research publications
  • Respond to management requests for data, information and analysis as required. Prepare ad-hoc reports and summaries based on in depth knowledge of the
  • latest global research forecasts, insights and publications
  • Develop relationships within the Economics and FICC Research teams, senior management, Risk and Corporate affairs. Externally with clients, economists,
  • researchers and policy-makers in institutes, government, academia, media and the private secto
  • Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulation
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and controls as a result of changes in products, systems, policy or regulation
  • Be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group
  • Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing the
  • Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment in Global Research

Qualifications

EDUCATION

The candidate would require a degree in economics or closely related subject and experience of Investment Research, including emerging markets.

  • The ability to write to a high standard and have excellent communications skills is essential.
