Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an E-Book Formatter. The E-Book Formatter will be responsible for converting manuscripts into various e-book formats and ensuring that each format meets the required standards. Daily tasks include styling text, formatting images, ensuring compatibility with various e-reader devices, troubleshooting formatting issues, and collaborating with authors and editors to achieve the desired presentation of the content.

Qualifications

• Skills in E-Book Formatting, Text Styling, and Image Formatting
• Familiarity with various e-book formats (e.g., EPUB, MOBI, PDF) and creating compatible files for different e-reader devices
• Proficiency in using e-book formatting tools and software (e.g., Calibre, Sigil, Adobe InDesign)
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience collaborating with authors and editors
• Previous experience in publishing or a related field is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in English, Publishing, Graphic Design, or related field
