What You’ll Lead And Deliver
- Shall have experience of design, installation, and commissioning of Low Voltage Switchgear & MCC’s, Medium Voltage Switchgear & MCC’s, AC & DC UPS systems, Transformer Systems, Power Management Systems, VFD & Soft starters
- Knowledge of maintenance activities for above systems will be an additional advantage
- Knowledge of low and medium voltage switchgear construction will be an added advantage
- Shall have basic understanding of the HVAC system design
- Review the Project RFQ and ensure that the project scope is executed in line with the customer requirements and sale commitments
- Responsible for leading project design & execution activities and assign activities to available team members
- Perform effort estimation for the project engineering, construction and testing works and develop the detailed project budget
- Perform review of the engineering documentation assigned as per project plan
- Ensure the project execution is completed within budget and within the allocated hours
- Coordinate the reviews with Inter Disciplinary teams
- Ensure project QA/QC plan is followed internally and by the contractors
- Responsible for the value addition in the project execution required to meet the cost improvement target
- Validate the supplier technical offer and confirm compliance to project specifications
- Draft the SOW for contractors and ensure the scope of work is fully confirmed by the contractor before the award of the contract to contractor
- Work with the project planning team for development of detailed schedule and progress trackers for different phases of the project (engineering, construction, testing & commissioning)
- Responsible for coordination with the suppliers for engineering and project deliverables
- Coordinate with the site execution team for the safe & timely execution of project activities
- Support the pre-sales team with the bidding and solution development
- Support the pre-sales team with development of bid BOM / MTO, development of engineering estimation and basis, Identification of any exclusions, review of vendor quotations/offers, raise required clarifications and close technical evaluation with the customer and vendor.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Experience: Shall have 3-6 years of engineering design & commissioning experience with minimum 2 years of experience in a lead role and 2 years of on-site experience in the installation & commissioning of electrical systems
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master Degree in engineering or in related field
- Competencies: Shall be Self driven, able to carve out solutions to challenging problems, out of the box thinker, able to demonstrate proactiveness in day-to-day activities, able to interact and directly handle customer at different levels
