Primary Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management / engagement management, with at least 2 to 4 years in cloud delivery space. Demonstrated experience in delivering projects in financial services and cloud technology is highly desirable.

2. Technology Delivery Expertise: Strong understanding and practical experience with digital and cloud technologies. Proven ability to scale agile practices to large, complex projects and teams.

3. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Ability to inspire and motivate team members, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

4. Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.

5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions. Proven experience in managing and resolving project-related risks and issues.

6. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to changing project requirements or priorities.

7. Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in agile methodologies and project management practices.

8. EM Level 2+ certification would be added advantage.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with GenAI, or data engineering in a cloud environment.
  • Ready for Mobility across global locations
  • Detailed understanding of APM tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Agile Transformation: Drive the adoption and implementation of agile methodologies, such as SAFe or LeSS, within the organisation. Educate and mentor teams, stakeholders, and leaders on agile practices, principles, and frameworks.

2. Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Ensure successful project execution by utilising agile practices and methodologies.

3. Team Management: Build and lead cross-functional / technology agile teams, consisting of business analysts, developers, testers, and other relevant roles. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, ensuring effective communication, motivation, and skill development.

4. Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and coaching to teams on best delivery practices, including backlog grooming, Quality development, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Help teams continuously improve their agile capabilities and deliver high-quality results.

5. Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, align project objectives, and manage expectations. Facilitate regular communication and provide project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust.

6. Risk and Issue Management: Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues. Implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project success. Escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.

7. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by analysing project metrics, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing process improvements. Champion agile best practices and propose innovative solutions to optimise project delivery.

8. Complete control and management of Internal (Capgemini) and External (customer’s) governance processes.
