ENGINEER, PLANNING - (DAR ENGINEERING - LAHORE)

Job Responsibilities:

• Obtaining & Monitoring the Monthly POC revenue cost targets (Cost Wise Progress) that must be followed by the Execution progress ( Man hours Based) Monitored in P6 which has been changes every three-month Quarter in the whole Fiscal Year.
• Cost Planning& Cost Monitoring in SAP-PS Module.
• Good Exposure & understanding of Advanced Excel Data management System and Analysis
• Prepare and update detailed baseline schedules, construction programmes, and progress curves in accordance with contract requirements.
• Track actual performance against planned timelines, identifying variances and recommending recovery actions where required.
• Provide management with accurate planning data and forecasts to support informed decision-making and contract compliance.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, HSE, and commercial teams to ensure schedule integration across all project activities.
• Analyse schedule risks, highlight potential delays, and support the development of mitigation strategies to safeguard project delivery.
• Ensure all planning deliverables, including schedules, look-ahead programmes, and final as-built schedules, are available for commissioning and client handover.

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Academic:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
• Additional training in project planning, scheduling tools, or construction management is an advantage.
• Training in recognised planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project) essential.

General Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls on large-scale engineering or construction projects.
• Proven background in preparing baseline schedules, progress monitoring, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project for schedule preparation and monitoring.
