About the Role 

We're seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to drive technical excellence across our development teams. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with client-facing responsibilities, requiring someone who can architect solutions, mentor developers, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. You'll be responsible for guiding development teams, ensuring project quality, and contributing to our pre-sales and proposal processes.

What You'll Do 

• Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance and support 
• Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high quality standards 
• Architect technical solutions for complex client requirements 
• Participate in pre-sales activities and client communications 
• Collaborate with sales teams to prepare compelling technical proposals 
• Guide junior developers and help build their technical capabilities 
• Take ownership of development workflows and project delivery 
• Establish technical architecture and development standards 
• Actively contribute to team building and professional development initiatives 
• Help scale our technical capabilities and development processes 

What You Bring 

• 10+ years of software development experience 
• Expert knowledge of Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask) 
• Strong experience with React.js and Node.js development 
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization technologies 
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring junior developers 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions 
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions 
• Experience with software architecture and system design 
• Understanding of development best practices and quality standards 
• Experience in proposal writing and pre-sales technical support 

What Will Set You Apart 

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) 
• Knowledge of machine learning libraries and AI development 
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies 
• Experience with microservices architecture 
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines 
• Prior experience in consulting or client-facing technical roles 
• Knowledge of other technologies in our stack (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
