Job Summary

Supporting the Head, Wealth & Retail Banking, Pakistan, Pakistan to manage and co-ordinate the execution of operational deliverables of the business

Key Responsibilities

  • The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Wealth & Retail Banking, Finance, Human Resources, Admin and Chief Operating Office teams
  • The role is inherently varied and reflects the changing demands and responsibilities of the Country / Segment Head of Wealth & Retail Banking
  • Work closely during Board Meetings / EXCO meetings / External meeting etc. ensuring end to end support to the Executive is provided by managing communication / documents for various meetings
  • Set up and maintain an extensive manual and computerized information filing system, updating contact and mailing lists and ensure safe keeping of documents with strict confidentiality
  • Preparing organizational charts
  • To liaise on internal audit matters and ensure satisfactory closure of all audit points
  • Coordinate event management for events related to Wealth & Retail Banking end to end alongside vendor management
  • Vendor management and approval
  • Effective co-ordination and constant follow up on internal client related projects

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the Wealth & Retail Banking team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters

  • Cluster and Country Management Team (CEO, CFO, Business Heads, Function Heads, etc.)
  • Wealth Retail Banking Team
  • Contact Center Frontline staff
