You‘ll make a difference by

• Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of protection relays (e.g., distance, differential, overcurrent).
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on protection and control systems at grid stations (132kV / 220kV / 500kV).
• Carry out end-to-end scheme testing of protection panels, CT/VT circuits, interlocking schemes, and trip signals.
• Operate relay test kits such as Omicron CMC, Megger, or similar for primary/secondary injection tests.
• Support during grid shutdowns, isolations, and emergency callouts for protection failures.
• Prepare field reports including test results, site observations, and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, electrical codes, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with customer engineers, control center, and internal teams for smooth execution of field activities.
  
  

Your success is grounded in

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power specialization).
• At least 1 year of field experience in protection and control systems, preferably in transmission/distribution substations.
• Working knowledge of protection relays from Siemens, ABB, GE, or Schneider
• Hands-on experience with relay testing equipment (e.g., Omicron CMC256/356, Megger SMRT).
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, protection schematics, and layout drawings.
