Executive Officer (Data Science)

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large, complex datasets from multiple sources.

·        Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to solve business and operational problems.

·        Design dashboards, visualisations, and reporting tools for real-time performance monitoring.

·        Work closely with IT, operations, and policy teams to integrate data science solutions.

·        Maintain documentation and ensure data governance, privacy, and ethical standards.

·        Monitor and improve the performance of deployed models and analytical systems.

·        Stay updated with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and big data analytics.

·        Strong knowledge of Python, R, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

·        Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) is a plus.

·        Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and project management skills.

Requirements & Experience:

·        Minimum sixteen (16) years in Sixteen (16) years of education in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Computer engineering, networking, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline

• Minimum of six (06) years of experience in the relevant field. Prior experience in Government / Public Sector organizations will be given preference
