Join our Supplier Cyber Assurance team, supporting Macquarie's vendors throughout the end-to-end cyber assessment process and ensuring a seamless experience for all staff, clients and external stakeholders

What role will you play?
In this role, you will partner with various stakeholders to assess and manage third party cyber risks in line with our supplier governance and information security frameworks. You will validate supplier security controls, analyse threats and assessment results, and provide clear, risk aligned recommendations to support decision making. You will also work closely with business teams and technical SMEs to develop remediation strategies, uplift supplier cyber posture, and strengthen Macquarie’s overall risk culture What you offer

- 5+ years’ experience in cybersecurity consulting, architecture, or IT audit, including exposure to third party or supply chain cyber assurance.
- Practical experience conducting configuration reviews and cyber assessments across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, with familiarity in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and cloud native technologies.
- Strong knowledge of security architecture, engineering principles, secure development practices, and core cyber domains such as IAM, vulnerability management, cloud security, and data protection.
- Solid understanding of key regulatory and industry frameworks, including CPS 234/230, DORA, NYDFS, NIST CSF, CIS, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001.
- Ability to translate technical findings into clear, risk aligned recommendations, with relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, OSCP, cloud certifications) highly regarded
