Finance Analyst Gulf

You will support accurate and timely financial reporting for GSK’s Gulf operations from our Pakistan location. You will work with finance colleagues, local teams and regional partners to complete month-end close, reconcile balance sheet items, and maintain strong financial controls. Responsibilities

• Perform month-end general ledger (GL) activities, close tasks for assigned entities, process journal entries and prepare timely financial reporting.
• Execute and document internal control activities in line with the finance control framework.
• Monitor daily transactions, support banking and cash reporting, and assist with cashflow analysis as needed.
• Investigate and resolve accounting and reporting issues with stakeholders across functions.
• Support audits, compliance requests, and process improvement initiatives.

Education, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or part qualified ACCA/ICMA or related field.

- 1- 2 years’ experience in financial accounting, and financial reporting.

• Practical experience with general ledger activities and month-end close, will be an added advantage.
• Good excel skills and comfort working with financial systems. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to deadlines.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English; able to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience working in a shared service center or multinational finance environment.
• Experience with financial controls frameworks and audit support, will be added advantage.
• Comfortable with process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Proactive mindset with good problem-solving and prioritization skills.

Work Arrangement
This role is on-site in Pakistan with a collaborative team environment. Occasional regional calls may require flexible hours
