About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who demonstrates initiative, ownership, and a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

As a Finance Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and analysis. You will work closely with senior members of the finance and accounting teams, assist in ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies, and contribute to the broader financial health of the business.

This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in finance and accounting principles, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, dependable, and takes full ownership of their responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports, statements, and dashboards
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, helping analyze trends and variances
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, manage journal entries, and ensure data integrity
• Track, record, and report on daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring deadlines are met
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather and validate financial data
• Participate in the development and improvement of financial systems and processes
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and data as needed
• Monitor compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and audit standards
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports for management decision-making
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost-efficiency improvements
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of professional experience in a finance, accounting, or audit role
• Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and accounting procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling); familiarity with financial software/tools is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information
• Self-motivated, takes initiative, and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
