Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations
  • Perform bank reconciliations, GL reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and aging analysis
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, withholding tax, income tax, etc. as applicable)
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits and provide required documentation
  • Support preparation of management reports and MIS
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
  • Assist in system-related activities (ERP/SAP preferred) and process improvements
