Job Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, consolidating, and analyzing financial data, including budgets and forecasts, to prepare detailed reports on the company's financial status. They will develop financial models and conduct benchmarking to provide insights that enhance financial performance. Key responsibilities include assisting in budget preparation, variance analysis, and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. The analyst will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyze potential investment opportunities, and conduct feasibility studies for new projects. Additionally, they will monitor cost drivers and provide cost analysis to various departments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to senior management to support strategic decision-making and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) and prepare detailed reports on financial status.
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process financial information.
  • Provide insights on the company’s financial performance and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Track the financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with forecasts.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and advise senior management on strategies for optimizing the company's financial position.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, shareholders, and auditors.
  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports and data analysis as requested by management.
  • Analyze potential investment opportunities and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies for new business projects and capital expenditures.
  • Support the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and contributing to long-term business goals.
  • Perform variance analysis to explain differences between projected and actual financial performance.
  • Assist in the development of action plans to mitigate negative variances and capitalize on positive variances.
  • Monitor and analyze cost drivers within the organization, identifying areas for cost reductions and operational improvements.
  • Provide detailed cost analysis to different departments, supporting the optimization of resources and expenses.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and perform in-depth data analysis to support financial decisions.
  • Analyze complex datasets, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Perform detailed financial and operational analyses to optimize business performance.
  • Conduct precise economic and industry analyses to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Work closely with various departments, including accounting, operations, and marketing, to provide financial insights and guidance.
  • Participate in meetings with senior management, presenting financial analysis and reports to aid in decision-making.

Our Requirements

  • ACCA Qualified / CA part qualified / MBA
  • At least 3 - 6 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
  • Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Communicate and present information with excellence.
  • Apply knowledge of accounting, costing, and business management.
  • Understand and implement accounting standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements accurately.
  • Manage target-oriented assignments efficiently.
