About The Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's financial decision- making process. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical financial skills, stakeholder management abilities, and strong presentation acumen. They will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales and technology, to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role will also involve presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the finance department, sales, and technology teams.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between departments to ensure alignment on financial objectives and strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Ensure that financial models are accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of the latest business assumptions.
  • Apply a solid understanding of core accounting principles, including revenue recognition, accruals, and expense management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and practices in all financial reporting and analysis activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with sales and performance teams to set and track quarterly financial targets.
  • Monitor performance against targets, identify variances, and work with teams to develop corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on progress toward financial goals, highlighting any risks or opportunities.
  • Communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Develop visual aids, including charts, graphs, and dashboards, to enhance the understanding of financial reports.


You must have

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling software and tools, such as Excel or similar applications.


Bonus points if you have

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA).
  • Experience in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes.
