We are seeking a highly experienced freelance trainer to deliver a specialized program on Fuel Handling and Management. The training aims to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into the properties, standards, safe handling, testing, and quality management of fuels in line with global and local practices.

We are seeking a highly experienced freelance trainer to deliver a specialized program on Fuel Handling and Management. The training aims to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into the properties, standards, safe handling, testing, and quality management of fuels in line with global and local practices.
Trainer Academic Qualification (Minimum)
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Petroleum Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Relevant certifications in Fuel Management, HSE, or Quality Standards will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of industrial experience in the oil & gas, power generation, or petrochemical industry.
- Strong expertise in:
- Utility fuels (Diesel, Fuel Oil, Natural Gas, Gasoline)
- Fuel standards & specifications (World Fuel Charter, Euro 2 vs. Euro 5, Pakistan Standards, Import Specifications)
- Fuel handling procedures, quality control, and testing methods
- Diesel oil testing & analysis techniques
- Fuel storage, transportation, and safety compliance
- Minimum 5 years of training experience with reputable organizations.
- Ability to deliver practical case studies and share best industry practices.
- Introduction to Fuels and Their Properties
- Definition and role of fuels
- Common utility fuels: Diesel, Fuel Oil, Natural Gas, Gasoline
- Key physical & chemical properties (Cetane, Octane, Viscosity, etc.)
- Global and Local Fuel Standards
- World Fuel Charter overview
- Euro 2 vs. Euro 5 comparison
- Pakistan's fuel specifications (local & import standards)
- Fuel Handling & Safety
- Diesel fuel handling procedures
- PPE guidelines and safety protocols
- Risk management during storage and transportation
- Diesel Oil Testing & Analysis
- Testing methods and key parameters:
- Ash Content, Viscosity, Sulfur Content, Cetane Index, Flash Point, Pour Point, etc.
- Importance of each parameter for engine performance & compliance
- Documentation & reporting requirements
- Best Practices in Fuel Management
- Quality assurance in the fuel supply chain
- Preventing contamination & degradation
- Case studies of fuel-related failures and lessons learned
- Duration: 1 Day
- Mode: Classroom / Workshop
