Frontend QA Lead

We are looking for a Frontend QA Lead to assess software quality through manual testing and lead a team of QA Engineers. You will be responsible for organizing work for the team as well as increasing the coverage of automation for our Web application, android and iOS automation experience is an added advantage.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication, time management and leadership skills.

Ultimately, you will be a critical technical QA to ensure that our frontend applications and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications with product owners
• Collaborate with the lead team to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Write and execute automated test cases and analyze results
• Handle both Android and iOS teams and someone who is hands-on and not just as a line manager. So, preferably a senior lead with both Android and iOS experience
• Send reports of automated test runs for each release
• Evaluate product behavior according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Clear out any impediments faced by team by coordinating with development leads and product owners
• Send detailed test reports to upper management of each release
• Need to be more technical and have knowledge of different areas including frontend and backend

Qualifications

• Knowledge of QA methodology
• 7+ years of experience in the relevant field
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software (like JIRA)
• Hands-on working experience with Selenium tools using the JAVA language
• Hands-on experience in Java programming and a good understanding of OOP concepts
• Hands-on experience in REST Assured API
• Should have a working knowledge of Continuous Integration with Jenkins
• Experience with source code management – e.g:- Git
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail, Analytical mind, and problem-solving skills
• Quick learner and Strong organizational skills
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
