Role Description
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with expertise in WordPress and SEO to join our team remotely. This role requires front-end and back-end development skills, along with a strong understanding of website performance, security, and SEO best practices.
As a Full Stack Developer at AKA Moving, you will:
Develop, maintain, and optimize our WordPress-based website.
Implement on-site SEO strategies to improve search rankings and site performance.
Work on both front-end (UI/UX) and back-end development, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall technical SEO.
Optimize content structure, metadata, and schema markup for SEO.
Ensure mobile responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and security.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align web development with SEO goals.
Qualifications
Strong WordPress development skills, including theme and plugin customization.
Experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
SEO expertise – experience optimizing website structure, speed, schema markup, and on-page SEO elements.
Proficiency in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
Familiarity with Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, and SEO tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush.
Ability to troubleshoot technical SEO issues, including indexing, canonicalization, and site architecture.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
