This position centers on creating tangible impact via functional software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems addressing real challenges—not simply closing tickets. You're expected to deploy rapidly while maintaining quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that harmonizes immediate velocity with future sustainability.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and Deploy Complete Features: Guide user stories from concept through delivery; refine requirements, architect scalable systems, implement both server and client code, validate thoroughly, and release to production
• Track Down and Resolve Defects: Diagnose issues using root cause analysis, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through intelligent testing
• Elevate Code Standards: Assess designs and pull requests to verify clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source

• Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or elaborate backend architectures purely for complexity's sake
• Executing specifications blindly without grasping the underlying problem
• Spending time in repetitive meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with others constantly

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
• Strong ownership: Proven track record owning entire modules, product features, or teams—not merely executing isolated tasks
• Independent execution: Capability to remove your own blockers, determine your own rhythm, and navigate forward through ambiguous scenarios
• Experience leveraging generative A.I. as part of your regular development workflow

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
