Fullstack Development Lead

Onstite, US Shift (6PM-9AM)

The Full-Stack Development Lead will lead the E-commerce Development and Operations teams. This position will manage the full-stack development tasks, production, and operational support. This role will oversee the Digital Releases and Agile Development teams, delivering new functionalities and features and continually improving the user experience on the website. This position will also participate in the design of more complex applications, including front-end and back-end components.

• Drive and participate in the technical architecture of new and existing applications to enhance and support the company’s eCommerce multi-branded website & Mobile App.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather business requirements for enhancing and developing web applications
• Software development experience in building scalable, responsive applications using server-side ReactJS, NextJS, GraphQL, Redux, JavaScript (ES6/7), HTML, CSS
• Lead and facilitate meetings with Web Developers to analyze business requirements to ensure possible design and updates to the applications
• Experience in crafting A/B tests, analyzing results and optimizing the experience
• Good understanding of API Gateways and orchestration layers
• Good understanding of CDN and caching strategies.
• Hands-on experience working with Node.js along with setting up frontend build systems and automating the same using Webpack/ Rollup
• Understanding of UX and challenges in large-scale UI Development
• Working knowledge of Domain Driven Design
• Deep understanding of UX and challenges of high-fidelity UI development.
• Oversee and manage the Web Developers to create, design, update, and modify web applications
• Develop a timeline or calendar for development projects and ensure timely completion
• Oversee architecture standards for creating and modifying applications
• Oversee the evaluation and testing of written code and new applications developed by direct reports and confirm business requirements have been met
• Manage relationships with 3rd party service providers

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 10+ years of previous related work experience required
• 6+ years of e-commerce web development experience with a specific focus on Node.js, React, React Native
• Understanding of the e-commerce framework and features particular to the retail industry
• 6-8 years of previous experience with Digital Experience Technology and Front-End Technologies
• Experience with a microservices-based architecture in a multi tired E-commerce landscape for desktop and mobile
• Experience implementing frameworks such as ReactJS using NextJS etc
• Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud or other similar eCommerce platforms
• Understanding of container strategies and ecosystems such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Expert knowledge and experience with application architectures and design (SOA, SOAP, REST, Gang of Four)
• Experience with Real User Monitoring tools like Akamai Mpulse, Speedcurve
• Experience with session analysis tools like QuantumMetric
• Experience with Application Monitoring Tools like NewRelic, AppDynamics
• Experience in handling performance optimizations and holiday readiness for a large-scale online retailer
• Experience in Log Consolidation tools like Splunk, SumLogic, LogLogic
• Knowledge of Akamai CDN and leveraging tools like Luna Control Center to manage cache configurations, redirects
• Knowledge of AWS Lambda, AWS AppSync, AWS API Gateway
