ROLE SUMMARY

We seek a dedicated and experienced Social Media Executive with a strong background in FMCG fast-paced Consumer Goods) and E-commerce industries. As the Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day social media activities of the company, performing social media campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics. Your role will drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of social media platforms, experience in FMCG/e-commerce, and proficiency in social media analytics. The selected candidate must work according to Canadian hours to ensure alignment with the team and operations. The shift timing will be from 5 PM to 1 AM PK time.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Social media management:
    • Implement the day-to-day management of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • Develop and implement social media content calendars, ensuring regular and engaging posts that align with the brand's voice and target audience.
    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels promptly and professionally.
    • Stay updated with social media trends, algorithm changes, and standard methodologies to optimize content and engagement strategies.
  • Social media campaigns:
    • Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns, including paid advertisements and organic promotions.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign strategies, set campaign objectives, and allocate budgets effectively.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization.
    • Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives, messaging, and targeting to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Social media analytics and reporting:
    • you have hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite and sprinklr to track and analyze key performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, impressions, and click-through rates.
    • Generate regular reports summarizing social media performance, trends, and insights.
    • Find opportunities for improvement based on data analysis and provide recommendations for content and campaign optimization.
    • Monitor competitor social media activities and industry trends to stay informed and make proactive recommendations.
  • Collaborative cross-functional partnerships:
    • Collaborate with the marketing, design, content, and customer support teams to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing strategies and brand guidelines.
    • Provide input and ideas for integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives that demonstrate social media channels.
    • Work closely with the customer support team to address customer inquiries and concerns raised through social media platforms.
    • Stay updated with industry trends:
    • Stay abreast of the latest trends, features, and standard methodologies in social media and FMCG/E-commerce industries.
    • Continuously explore new social media platforms and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.

  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and standard methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair.
  • Analytical approach with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
