Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of gameplay mechanics, puzzles implementations, level progression and AI systems in Unity or Unreal Engine environments.
  • Optimize game performance and memory usage for both PC, console and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to integrate assets, animations, and effects into the game environment.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gameplay, performance, and stability.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in game development technologies and best practices.
  • Make use of git lfs and git flow for version control


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 3+ years) in game development with a strong focus on racing games using Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
  • Expertise in C# for Unity or C++ for Unreal Engine, with a deep understanding of game architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of top down puzzles, adventure dynamics, and AI programming.
  • Experience with optimization techniques to maximize game performance across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • A passion for racing games and a keen interest in pushing the boundaries of game development technology.
