General Manager – Impact Interventions

We are hiring a full-time resource who will be responsible to grow TCF’s endeavors in its strategic goal for broader learning landscape in Pakistan through publishing of textbooks & teacher development; manage publishing house; publish low-cost high quality textbooks; institutional selling of the same; grow the teacher training and certification services; lead low-cost high-quality teacher’s development programmes. In addition, scale a ‘ladder’ of flexible and low-cost interventions & provide literacy and life skills to out-of-school-children of Pakistan.

• Develop TCF’s endeavours in its strategic goal of applying TCF capabilities to the broader learning landscape in Pakistan.
• Manage publishing house; publish low-cost high-quality textbooks; institutional selling of the same.
• Grow the teacher training and certification services by ensuring low-cost high-quality teacher’s development programmes; consumer and digital-focused selling of the same.
• Understand the target population of schools and teachers; its geographical dispersal and its learning needs.
• Scale up the publishing, training and underpin this social enterprise with a self sustaining financial model.
• Scale up the literacy and life skills program for out of school children in Pakistan and ensure content sustainability and a robust operational framework.
• Develop a strategic vision for expanding programmes to reach more out-of-school children in Pakistan.

Masters from a reputed institute

EXPERIENCE

10-12 years of experience in:

1. Initiating, launching & scaling of program / product: from design to operational implementation

2. Program management: from budget to resources to design and implementation

3. Social entrepreneurial skills who immerse on ground: learns, sieves, distills and has the patience to learn in iterations

4. Digital marketing and sales experience

5. Relationship management with multiple stakeholders

6. Team development
