Job Title: Head of ERP (Zoho Preferred)
Job Summary:
The Head of ERP must be a dynamic and experienced Executive Head of the Zoho ERP Team to lead our efforts in optimizing and enhancing our enterprise resource planning capabilities. He is responsible for leading a team of professionals for successful planning, deployment and integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems within the organization and to provide shared services to its clients. This role involves overseeing all aspects of ERP implementation projects, from conceptualization, planning, customization, and deployment to post-implementation support. This role involves strategic oversight, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional departments to ensure the effective implementation and utilization of Zoho ERP solutions including but not limited to planning, execution, and delivery of ERP projects across the organization, ensuring effective integration and optimization of Zoho tools to meet business needs. The role requires close coordination with various departments and ensuring that the ERP system aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of ERP specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Define the overall ERP implementation strategy in alignment with the organization’s business goals.
- Lead and oversee the organization’s ERP implementation and integration efforts with a strong focus on Zoho products.
- Develop a comprehensive project roadmap, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Oversee all phases of the ERP implementation life cycle, including requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live.
- Manage the ERP project team, including consultants, developers, and internal IT staff.
- Ensure seamless integration of Zoho ERP with other enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and process optimization.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the ERP systems and team operations.
- Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to ensure ERP functionality meets business needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Facilitate regular updates and communication with senior management on the progress and performance of the ERP implementation.
- Work with vendors to customize ERP modules to meet the specific needs of the business.
- Lead the customization of Zoho ERP modules to fit the organization's specific needs.
- Ensure seamless integration of ERP systems with existing IT infrastructure and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor ERP system performance and resolve any issues post-implementation.
- Develop a support plan for ongoing system maintenance, updates, and improvements.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing ERP capabilities and improving business processes.
- Stay updated on ERP trends, tools, and technologies to recommend future upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 15 to 20 years of experience with a minimum of 10 years of experience in ERP implementation.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho etc.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering end-to-end ERP projects.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Zoho ERP, including Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Creator, and other modules.
- Strong understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, business processes, and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in data integration, system customization, and reporting within the Zoho ecosystem.
- Knowledge of cloud-based ERP solutions and SaaS environments.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and system efficiency.
