Head of International Business
Location: Karachi, Sindh (PK)
Purpose of the Job: The Head of International Business will oversee the export division, which includes developing a long-term plan for market expansion and revenue growth. This role involves managing existing business relationships effectively and creating commercial plans to capitalize on opportunities for product innovation, brand growth and market / channel penetration. The individual will be responsible for both the top and bottom line of international business, which requires budget management and revenue planning. They shall collaborate across teams to optimize operations, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and meet commercial targets aligned with business goals.
Job Description:
- Ensure the achievement of annual export sales and revenue targets as per the company's annual operating plan.
- Manage export budgets, including promotional trade discounts and consumer promotions, ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the export portfolio including new market entry strategies while ensuring sustainable growth.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on business performance including challenges & opportunities for brands and export geographies.
- Oversee account receivables and net revenue, ensuring timely collections and financial compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective distributors and key stakeholders in targeted regions.
- Conduct market research and visits to identify potential international markets and distribution partners for business expansion.
- Collaborate with the brand, planning and production teams to agree on delivery schedules and specific requirements regarding product packaging and innovation.
- Work with the QA / Technical department to address and resolve technical queries.
Experience & Qualification:
- MBA / Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree
- Candidates should have min 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a senior-level role of business development or international business, preferably within FMCG category.
