As Head of Quality, you will lead the development and execution of a robust quality strategy that ensures every product meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and excellence. You’ll oversee end-to-end quality governance — from systems and processes to people and performance — driving a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility.

• Leading the design and execution of the Food Safety Plan, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Leading and developing the capability of the quality team to sustain a high-performance, compliance-driven culture.
• Partnering with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to identify food safety risks and establish proactive prevention measures.
• Defining and maintaining product and process specifications for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Overseeing quality and food safety governance across in-house and third-party manufacturing facilities.
• Driving supplier development through audits, training, and capability-building initiatives to ensure material quality and consistency.
• Managing regulatory and customer audits, ensuring readiness, compliance, and timely closure of observations.
• Leading customer complaint investigations, ensuring root cause identification, corrective actions, and reduction in recurring issues.
• Guiding Quality Assurance and Control teams in implementing GMP, HACCP, and quality protocols, and building a culture of zero defects.
• Overseeing the setup and performance of in-house laboratories, ensuring testing accuracy and operational excellence.
• Analyzing quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Ensuring effective sanitation, hygiene, and microbial control programs across all facilities.

Education And Experience Requirements

Required: Bachelors in relevant field (Food Science & Technology or Food Engineering/Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering) (Masters preferred)

Preferred: Quality Managements System Certifications in relevant field (Food Science & Technology or Food Engineering/Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering)

Experience: 15 years of experience with 5 years in a managerial role (FMCG, Food, Automobile or related industry)
