Job Summary

To provide effective leadership and management of the school, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students and professional development for staff. The Head Teacher will report directly to Education Officer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership in line with the school's mission and objectives.
• Develop and communicate a clear vision for the school's growth and improvement.
• Ensure the implementation of curriculum and educational policies.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the school.
• Manage and allocate resources efficiently to support teaching and learning.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work culture among the staff.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of students.
• Implement and enforce discipline policies in a fair and consistent manner.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, community members, and external stakeholders.
• Represent the school in community events and activities.
• Develop and manage the school budget.
• Ensure financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
• Implement measures to improve overall educational outcomes.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Any other duty assigned by line Supervisors.
