We are looking for a forward-thinking professional to spearhead our work in transforming science education via sophisticated data analysis, novel AI integration, and comprehensive subject knowledge. Your objective? To accelerate student comprehension of scientific principles by a factor of two, spanning everything from foundational biology to quantum physics.

What You Will Be Doing

• Interpreting intricate patterns within student learning data through AI, converting these findings into pioneering strategies that fundamentally change how science is delivered and absorbed.
• Building AI-driven virtual labs and simulations that make abstract scientific principles tangible, capturing student attention while enhancing understanding.
• Creating adaptive learning sequences that adjust dynamically, rendering complex scientific theories approachable and compelling for learners at every skill level.
• Partnering with a multidisciplinary group of educators, scientists, and AI specialists to redefine the boundaries of science instruction, directly shaping the educational experience of thousands of students.

Instructional Designer Key Responsibilities

Produce quantifiable gains in student science learning performance through AI-powered analysis and execution, evidenced by a 2x increase in concept acquisition speed across multiple scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) and educational levels.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific field (such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or similar)
• 3+ years of experience teaching science or developing science curriculum, with demonstrable impact on learning outcomes
• Basic coding abilities in any programming language
• Experience designing, implementing, or using AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights from it
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse stakeholders in a professional setting

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
