Internship (Finance workstream)

The Finance Department at USAID IPA is looking for a Finance Intern to assist with various financial tasks. The intern will support the team in areas such as data entry and maintaining financial records. Responsibilities include helping with processing invoices, organizing financial documents, and supporting finance team. The intern will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, contributing to the overall financial operations of the organization.

• Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Labelling and indexing of all financial files i.e., hard/soft, as per established organizational policy.
• Monthly scanning of all financial vouchers and online archive online.

• Specific Tasks of the Intern:

As directed by the supervisor for this position, the intern shall perform and support the performance of the following specific tasks:

• Intern will make sure all finance vouchers are in order and complete as guided.
• He/She will be scanning, renaming vouchers on MS. Excel and saving those scanned vouchers in specified folder as directed by Officer.
• Photocopying tasks if needed.
• Properly filling all vouchers and labeling all file’s once scanning work is complete.

• Support the Finance Manager to manage in day-to-day task.

• Job Qualifications

• A current or recently graduated student (up to 1 year) from university (associate’s, undergraduate and graduate degree) in the field of Finance or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Good communication and Interpersonal skills

• Duty Station:

The intern is required to come to IPA office in Islamabad.

• Workspace and Use of Personal Laptop and Software(s):

The individual will be using the laptop/desktop provided by the Project or may be asked to use personal laptop as deemed necessary.

• Reporting:

The work of the Finance intern will be supervised by the Finance Officer or his designee.

• Duration of the Assignment:

This intership is for 3 months.
