IT Project Coordinator - Project Velocity

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated IT Project Coordinator to support Project Velocity from our Lahore office. Reporting to the IT Director in London, this role will be instrumental in assisting with various stages of the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of IT project management principles, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination and Support:
• Assist the IT Director in coordinating activities across all phases of Project Velocity, including:
• Solution Design: Supporting documentation and coordination of design workshops.
• Testing: Assisting in the coordination of UAT, tracking issues, and reporting on testing progress.
• Training: Helping to organize training sessions and materials.
• Data Readiness: Supporting data cleansing, migration, and validation efforts.
• Go-Live Readiness: Assisting with final checks, communication, and go-live planning.
• Implementation: Providing administrative and coordination support during the deployment phase.
• Hypercare Period: Assisting in tracking and resolving post-implementation issues.
• Post-Implementation Processes: Supporting project closure activities and lessons learned documentation.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action logs, risk registers, and status updates.
• Assist in preparing project reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management:
• Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and vendors as required.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings.
• Administrative Support:
• Provide general administrative support to the project team as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, IT Project Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in an IT project support or coordination role.
• Understanding of IT project management methodologies and lifecycle.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project is a plus).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a remote team.
• A proactive and "can-do" attitude.

Desirable Skills:

• Project Management certification (e.g., CAPM, Prince2 Foundation) will be considered an added advantage.
• Experience working in a multinational company or reporting to an international office.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
