This role bridges healthcare and technology, involving clinical data analysis, EMR systems, and healthcare analytics. It's an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to kick-start their careers in clinical informatics and healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
- Understanding clinical settings, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Healthcare Analytics, and Hospital/Provider practices.
- Working with various healthcare data sources, such as EMR/PM systems, Payer Data, and Health Information Exchange (HIE).
- Gaining knowledge of healthcare data formats like HL7, CCD, JSON, and their parsing methods.
- Acting as a clinical liaison between clients and development teams, conducting research and analysis on basic to complex clinical issues.
- Analyzing clinical data requirements, assisting QA teams in building test cases, and validating programs and measures.
- Learning about Population Health Management and Quality Measures such as MIPS, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use Reporting.
- Fresh Graduates or individuals with up to 6 months of experience in a relevant field.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bio Sciences, Bioinformatics, Healthcare, Clinical Studies, or a related discipline.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Humble, friendly, and adaptable with a flexible mindset.
- Proactive, positive, and creative thinker with an out-of-the-box approach.
