Junior Data Engineer

We’re looking for a Junior Data Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to join our remote data team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining ETL pipelines, working with Snowflake, and structuring data using star schema design. You’ll also get to play a role in web scraping using Python, and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow.

 Timing: 8 AM – 5 PM (Your Local Time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines.
• Work with Snowflake to ingest, transform, and store structured data.
• Design and implement star schema for reporting and analytics.
• Write Python scripts to scrape data from web sources.
• Use Apache Airflow for scheduling and monitoring workflows.
• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to meet business needs.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a Data Engineering role (must).
• Proficiency with ETL pipeline development.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake and star schema modeling.
• Experience with web scraping using Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data projects.
• Exposure to data visualization or BI tools.
