Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Junior Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery through effective task delegation, fostering collaboration, and maintaining transparency. The Junior Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding Agile processes, facilitating sprint ceremonies, and driving the team toward achieving quality deliverables on time while upholding organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring collaboration and transparency across the team.
• Coordinate and deliver high-quality outcomes, meeting all timelines, milestones, and standards.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Monitor project progress through reporting and metrics, including burn-down charts and velocity tracking.
• Identify and secure necessary resources for tactical project requirements.
• Coach and mentor team members in Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
• Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and foster a productive work environment where team members take ownership of deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external communication with stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and address new requests.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards by the end of each sprint.
• Drive the team toward higher levels of Scrum maturity and Agile implementation.
  
  
  

Candidate Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Scrum Master, with a proven record of planning and delivering technology solutions.
• Familiarity with software development processes.
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g., definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
• Proficiency in Agile frameworks and tools, including Scrum, Kanban, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
  
  
  

Required Competencies

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, IT, or a relevant field.
• Scrum Master certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Scrum practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile reporting.
• Ability to maintain a holistic view of work to achieve a consistent flow through the team.
• Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to coach teams and implement Agile changes effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ability to work in shift timing from 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
