Key Accounts Manager - IMT

Job Purpose:
To act as the dedicated Account Manager for key distributors and IMT customers in the allocated region, and ensure sales targets are achieved in line with the modern trade sales strategy
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies for the allocated Modern Trade region in accordance with NFL’s revenue targets
- Work closely with the Regional Key Account Manager (RKAM) to ensure the regional revenue targets are cascaded and achieved
- Work closely with the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) and Marketing team to develop, review and approve the route-to-market strategies for the allocated region
- Track, monitor and report on actual spend vs budget with details of any variances
- Identify, pursue and build robust business relationships with retail operators through Modern Trade channels
- Assess distributor performance on an ongoing basis and conduct visits to build and maintain relationships with the distributors
- Identify and expand NFL’s presence in underserved markets within Modern Trade using market intelligence from the Modern Trade Sales team and Marketing teams
- Contribute to negotiations with distributors on pricing and terms of sales agreements and monitor the implementation of the contract as per the agreed terms
- Work closely with the Marketing and QIRD teams to review and analyse the performance of new and existing product categories
- Conduct regular reviews with the TSM and IMT Recovery Analyst to track and monitor performance against the allocated targets and address any performance issues in a timely manner
- Provide training, guidance and oversight to the TSMs to ensure they operate in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor performance and evolving consumer preferences Prepare and submit regular management sales reports for the allocated region

Background Requirements:
Education: Graduate
Experience: 4-6 years relevant experience preferred.
